Pedestal of Sky
This is a strategy fight. You can't just brute force it. Both dragons must be fought at the same time. The dragons health must stay within 4 percent of each other. If they get 5 percent apart, they cast Supernova, which is a zone wide AOE dot that ticks until you get them back in line. Thus, if Supernova goes off, it usually results in a wipe. When you zone in, the dragons are not attackable. The Djinn in the middle is hailable. When someone hails him, he asks if you are here to seek an audience with Barakah and Siyamak. If you want to fight the dragons you say Yes. If you are just there to get scales for the Djinn Master, you say No and then you fight the Djinn. He drops a few scales that give access to the Djinn Master's Prism. Once you say Yes, the Djinn disappears and the Twin Dragons begin to circle the room. After pathing around once, they attack.
There are two ways they can be fought. Split the raid up into 2 tanks, 1 for each dragon. Have 1 tank fight both dragons. We fight them with 2 tanks as we've never had any success doing it with 1 tank. We have our best equipped tank on Barakah. It is wise to get his Heat resist up above 5k, but don't sacrifice too much mitigation in doing so. She hits hard. The healers assigned to the tank on Barakah also need their heat resist above 5k as they will be healing inside the AOE DOT. We do not allow anyone under lv65 or who can't get their heat resist above 5k to fight Barakah. The DOT hits too hard and they just die. Anyone who fights ranged stays in the middle of the room. That way they can attack whichever dragon has the most health. We use 2 MA's for this as well. In Teamspeak, we have each MA calling out each dragons health. This way they do not go past the 4 percent mark. If there is a 3 percent differential, the MA that is lower tells his group to turn off attacks until they are back to a 1 percent differential. Once both dragons hit 5 percent health we dps them down asap.
After you win, a little green treasure mob spawns. You kill it for the chest. If you die in the zone, you cannot revive. If you wipe, it is possible to redo the fight if someone got a feign death off and has rez shards. Once you revive out of zone you are locked out for 12 hours.
Named Monsters
Barakah of the Day
- Mob Health: 785,000
- Auto-Attack Type: Slashing (bout 2.5k per hit on a decent lv70 tank)
- Special Attacks:
- Flame of the Sun - Heat AOE DOT (2500 initial dmg, 1500 per tick if not cured) every 22-27 seconds
- Righteous Judgment - ST Divine DD (2000 dmg)\
- Blessed Aid - 10k Heal
Strategy
She is a Paladin. She will heal herself for about 30,000 throughout the fight, so watch for health spikes. Her primary danger is her Heat AOE DOT. It will hit the healers even when they are at max range, so it will need to be cured immediately. Anyone with 5k or higher Heat resist should be able to mitigate that first initial hit though until they get cured. Anyone under lv65 will get waxed by it though. It appears it can be jousted and I do believe that the AOE does not reach max caster range.
Siyamak of the Night
- Mob Health: 775,000
- Auto-Attack Type: Piercing (bout 3.5k per hit on a decent lv70 tank)
- Special Attacks:
- Light of the Moon - Cold AOE Power Drain DOT (500 initial, 250 per tick) every 22-27 seconds
- Fetid Strike - ST Disease DD (2000 dmg)
- Caress Feedback - Disease Damage Shield
Strategy
He is a Shadowknight. The Caress Feedback can only be dispelled by an SK or Paly. It must be done so at the beginning of the fight or He will wipe out the raid force fighting him. The power drain AOE is pretty wimpy to be honest. All you need is a decently geared tank and healers who know what they are doing and the fight is easy. He does hit harder than Barakah as he does not have an AOE.
