Named Monsters

Senior Loyalist Tilas

  • Mob Health: 83x4 5,500,000
  • Auto-Attack Type: Crushing 5k-12k damage
  • Special Attacks:
  1. Focus Anger - self buff
  2. Dreadful Swipe - 5k-25k Slashing dmg
  3. Dreadful Sweep - 10k-17k Crushing dmg
  4. Raging Blow - 5k Crushing dmg
  5. Wild Swing - 4k Crushing dmg
  6. Barrage - Crushing dmg
  7. Mangle - Crushing dmg
Strategy

Fairly simple Tank-n-Spank.

We use pet pull with MT on one side of hall and OT (or Ot's) on other side. MT takes named, OT's take the 2 trash mobs. Straight burn the adds, leave MT and swash on named. Once adds dead, just burn named. His Swipe hit's fairly sportingly, and appears to be a barrage.

Captain Ikalus

  • Mob Health: 84x4 8,500,000
  • Auto-Attack Type: Slashing 5k-11k damage
  • Special Attacks:
  1. Focus Anger - self buff
  2. Cloak of the Undead Captain - self buff
  3. Winds of Asphyxia - 2k-22k Poison dmg w/5k Power Drain
  4. Bolt From the Dead - 1k Magic dmg
  5. Raging Blow - 5k Slashing dmg
  6. Wild Swing - 4k Slashing dmg
  7. Barrage - Slashing dmg
  8. Mangle - 5k Slashing dmg
  9. Vicious Cut - 2k Slashing dmg
Strategy

Not much different than the 1st named. Be careful with pull as there are 2 trash mobs in room hiding in the near corners. Use monk or someone to safely prox pull the singles then pull named.

Just cure Asphyxia when it lands. We didn't bother to pull a timer on it, it wasn't that frequent and didn't require jousting.

Thet-em-aua

  • Mob Health: 85x4
  • Auto-Attack Type: Piercing 13k-20k damage
  • Special Attacks:
  1. Arcane Cloak of the Thet - self buff
  2. Curse of the Thet -
  3. Thetian Thunderclap - 1k-2k power drain Magic (From Cloak)
  4. Ancient Wrath of the Thet - 20k Heat dmg w/11k power drain
  5. Toxic Fog - 8k-17k Poison dmg
  6. Mark of the Serpent - 1.5k-3k Magic dmg w/1k-2k power drain
  7. Acrid Cloud - 10k-20k Disease dmg
  8. Pungent Mist - 1k-2k Poison dmg
Strategy

Tough scripted encounter.

He can not be pulled out of his room. In fact trying to pull very far from his spawn location causes a raidwide nearly fatal aoe to go off. However pulling with raid positioned in line of site seems to prevent the AOE.

The key to this mob is learning the curses. Everyone needs to watch for getting cursed, and when you get one, you need to look at you're detrimental window and figure out which you have:

1. Curse of the Thet - Duration 9s, This causes you to drain 28% of the power of anyone you start to cast a spell on. This is really a healer debuff. Healers will drain the power of anyone they heal/cure under this curse. However, you only receive this curse by doing damaged to the named (1% chance). Healers should limit damage to named, and avoid autoattack to avoid this curse. 2. Mark of the Serpent (red) - Duration (90s), This curse allows you to hit the adds that come from above and below him. It also gives you the ability to hit them for excessive damage. The point is the people that get this curse must move to where the adds are and kill them. If the adds get within 15m of the named, they will fire spinning fury and wipe you're raid. 3. Mark of the Serpent (green) - This appears to be the same version of the curse, we've not figured out how/why there are 2 different ones. We suspect this might be an aid to assigning which people go 'up' or 'down'.
