Strategy

Position Pawbuster over the grate in the middle of the floor (notice the fan underneath) This is a SURVIVAL fight. Pawbuster will kill himself.

He has a trauma based aoe mez that must be cured. It will hit the 14 people closest to him. Set tanks / melee in the circle over the grate. Place range dps on the outer rim of the circle faning out so no one is standing on each other. Place healers on the outer circle behind the dps. This keeps healer out of range of the stun allowing them to cure everyone. Recommend having clerics on steadfast for this fight as they can cure themselves then cure other healers when the get stunned.

Place MT on east side, all other melee on west side. Every 15s or so Pawbuster will do great cleave. He raises his axe way up in the air, roots himselve then slams it down. It is a frontal knockback and stun and should only affect the tank standing in front of him. All melee stay right on top of him from behind. All tanks fight for him, whoever has him gets on east side, everyone else rotates to his back. Keep repeating this and he wont ping to other people. Dumbfire pets are highly encouraged. You may have to spin him around but keep him on grate facing east/west not north/south or healers will have range issues. Sometime between 35% and 5% he will get strong enough and break the lock. At this time, have the troub (or someone) pull the lever where he spawns. This opens the door and he falls to his death. Have brawlers save peel/drag/etc for the odd times he pings to dps.

Very easy fight once you figure out how to keep your healers unstunned.

Other people fight him on a wall and move him. Both work, but its just not that hard for melee to adjust on the grate, and then you don't accidentally lose people on the move and heal him.

  • Note: (He can no longer be killed by dps at 20% health he gains a defensive stance and only takes 10% of total dps)
