It is esential that all members that can attend Raids DO attend Raids. For the Guild to be fully functional we must have a full turn out on all Raids. With this in mind the following policy will be in effect:
Over Raid Limit / Sit Outs
There may be times when we end up with more then the max amount of people for a given raid (Gx2,x3,x4). At that time some people may be called to sit out. If you follow the rules for sitting out then you will still receive loot prevliges as if you were on the raid. You may also even have a chance at still bidding on some of the loot.
The way we decide who sits out.
1. No one we need will sit out - the most important thing is that we have a functional raid
- ex. if we have 4 healers at a Gx4 raid - healers won't be allowed to sit out
- ex. if we have 1 mezzer at a raid where we need one - he/she won't be allowed to sit out
2. We will take volunteers - unless we need your class (see #1)
- ex. if 5 people volunteer and only 3 may sit out - then the officers will decide who to sit out from the volunteers
3. If there are not enough volunteers to sit out, then the Officers will tell the people in the raid with the least critical roles.
Sitting out
To bid on items :
- must be at an area where you can access the chest quickly (only if item is No Trade)
- must be in vent at the time of the chest drop (bidding will not wait for you)
*phone calls - if the sit out is AFK and only if the Officer's decide the item is important enough - then a phone call might be made to them - but do not expect one.
To continue to receive credit :
- must be able to enter the raid if a spot opens up for you
- must be reachable through vent
- if you can not be reached when needed then it will be assumed that you were never reachable since the last time we heard from you (this means you may lose all loot privleges if we last heard from you when you first sat out)
*phone calls - if you can be reached through a phone that is fine - but be sure someone is there that will call you - No one is under any obligation to call you and you are held responsible for not being there when needed.
